New blog and I'm opening it up...

 

The monster plate coral in the picture on my profile is on a reef very close to the island I work on in Fiji. It's not the biggest I've ever seen but it's the biggest I have a picture of and certainly the biggest that has some sort of persepective to it.

 

Anyone else got pictures of big plates?

I did however headbutt a floundering Korean snorkeller in the stomach on my ascent. The same Korean I had just rapped across the back of the head for going out of his way to find some coral to stand on. Is litigation as big in Korea as in the States?
