8/21/2006 - When a Diver Goes Après-Ski

On Friday night, I braved the balmy Brisbane weather and went to our work's Apres Ski party.

Why couldn't it have been a dive party? I have LOTS of dive clothes and items I could have accessorised... but noooooo. It has to be the frozen water instead.

Overall it was a great night - lots of cool stuff, take home pressies (beanie - so no more cold head with winter diving - though I still love my DiveOz cap). The highlight was definitely the snowboard machine - though somehow I strained my arm (arm????) from all the snowboard. If anything I thought I would have a sore tuchie or thighs, but no, my arm.

Anyhoo - here is a pic of me being a dill in my idea of what "après ski" is - blue for cold/ice. Did I mention that I wished it was a diving party????
