Ok... because this is a new website, we are all learning, and that is good.

But I think is time to set some ground rules.

We all have other lifes outside diving, the idea of mydivinglife.com is not only about diving, we are here to post any topic... hopefully related with diving... but we can always "dive in other topics"

But I don't like people to post links redirecting to their other blogs. Hey... this is not a marketing plataform for us to read your other blog.

If you have another blog: great.

but if you use this blog mainly to promote your other blog: Not good.

Because at the end of the day... if it is toooooo difficult for you to write about your diving life: Well this is not the site for you.

4 New Templates

Ok... so here we go... new templates. Yahoo!!!!

Here they are...

I specially like the one of Just Keep Breathing for a simple reason. The diver that you see in the header... is actually a theater group photo, doing a play about scuba diving . Sounds strage. But if you see the template quite close, you will see the "effect".

By the way. I increase by 2 MEGAS capacity to upload photos for all the users. Now everyone has 5 MG.

I will create (during this month...) a system where the more you post, the more Megas you get. It simply seems fair.)

ok. Well... sorry for the delay with the new templates. I will try to do more templates during this weekend .

It is like 4:00 am... and I find that the Database is failing. Anyone having problems tonite or today .... (where ever you are... ) with posting and preview the information in MyDivingLife?

New Things in this month

I will be creating 10 new Templates before next monday...  

and as a little news, I just setup a contest for 4 days of diving in Malaysia free in www.diversjobs.com  ( a total of 8 fun dives.... that' sound nice... pity I can't travel to claim them...  )

I know many of you live in the States, but ... hey... if there is any backpacker out there , they should join the contest...

I have seen that MyDivingLife seems to be stuck in 70 users. I will try to boost the traffic and get new members during this month... so what about a BET...

how many new members do you guys think we can get during this month?

I guess that we can get 70 members more... for a total of 140?

Any ideas? Am I a dreamer?

Stuff of the week

Ok, I greate a new template.... a nice shark with the title ... MAD for Diving. Still ... I haven't seen anyone using this on  ...

Well I have seen a few Blogs from Dive Centers that I invited to join. I still don't know if they get the idea of what a Blog is, many of them went straight to post the prices.

The idea is to blog the life of a Dive Center...., anyway, If the only blog they post is the typical..." dive with us"... the blog will be erased, I know many of you support this.

As a nice point: I love some Blogs with plenty of information about the dive sites and with amazing photos... from South Africa to Tasmania.... good job for you guys....

Creating new templates.

Today I will be creating new templates with less fishes and more diving topics. If anyone out there has a cool idea for templates, let me know...

It will be cool to hear from you guys what do you want from the site and how can we improve.

I know it has been only 3 days since we are online...  but for sure we can always bring new ideas .
