10/28/2007 - Two Dive Days In A Row!!!

Divebum Don used his wonderous connections to get us into the Archery Range, much to the dismay of the club members. We stayed out of their way, yet we felt like ants at a picnic.
We hiked down to the water, which is a nice, short hike when you get to drive in. Evil Jeff and King Don headed for the caves while Merry and I were content to look for Hopkin's Rose nudis and check out the Sheepheads.
We spotted more than two dozen Hopkin's Rose, and just as many octopus. The fish hung out with us as if we were old friends. We even spotted a school of Barracuda through the gloom of the eight feet visibility. Just before we surfaced, Merry found a large Cabezon resting on a rock.
It felt great to actually dive both days of the weekend again. I can't wait for the four days I have off at Thanksgiving.
