8/3/2006 - First Attempt At Macro

I went back to the boat launch after work today to try for some better results than I got yesterday. I was pleased with the images I got today, despite the dirty harbor water and wind-swept surface. Shooting nudis from above the surface is hard enough without the added frustration.

Most of the nudis are gone from the boat launch. I don't know whether it is due to the warm water or maybe they are simply done mating and laying eggs. I found about a dozen today, including a new visitor to the area, a San Diego dorid. My housing will arrive Monday. I can't wait to try macro underwater with this new camera.
