8/2/2006 - Pirates Ahoy!

I took my new camera, a Fujifilm E900 over to the Cabrillo Beach boat launch to try for some better nudibranch pictures. Unfortunately I forgot to put the camera in macro so I have a lot of shots of the surface of the water. I decided to try a few topside pictures instead. The Black Pearl of Pirates of the Caribbean fame is in port now so I zoomed in and held the camera as still as possible. The results are much nicer than my old camera.

The housing will be in on August 7th. After a bit of a learning curve I hope to have all new underwater images to share soon.
