Wreckreational Diving

2/19/2006 - Rainy Days and Sundays

I was scheduled to dive from my Friend Ross' boat today. I called him this morning to let him know it was raining here. He said it was pouring at his house, so he cancelled the trip. Five minutes later, the Sun came out, so I decided to go over to Marineland and see how it looked. A couple of my friends from DiveVets.com were already there. We decided to go in since it was turning out to be another nice day. As we got close to the point, a very large Gray whale swam by, near the spot we would be diving in a few minutes. All the usual critters were there to greet us, including Octopus, nudis and even a Garibaldi, uncommon on the main reef.
