marcos colon swam 10 miles to shore after losing track of

his dive buddy and the dive boat, on February 10, 2006, off

the coast of Puerto Rico.

   to make matters worse, the seas were pretty rough, and

there was driving rain as he swam.  he also had to swim

through the night.  unfortunately, the story doesn't say

made landfall at Vieques, his home island.  Vieques is the
