Roatan Pics.....The Animals AboveIs it me, or is this 'JUNGLE LOVE'? Oh Baby, Baby, it's a Wild Life! One little, two little, three little Monkeys....four little, five little, six little Monkeys in which John and I would find on our balcony one morning This Little Rascal up in the palm tree was throwing ice at us during Happy Hour. This pair share a 'Monkey Lala,' a specialty drink that was served up at the bar. ...and THIS little monkey takes off with MY Corona!!! I'm just too sexy for my feathers, too sexy... 'Listening to Mexican Radi-Oooooo, serving up some fried Igauna..........NOT! Ten points to the first person who can name this odd looking creature??! It's a Watussi! He is about the size of a large rabbit, looks like a guinea pig with long legs. They are very calm in their behavior. I am suprised that we don't have them here in the US for pets!
Other land creatures that we saw included bats and Coconut Palm Hermit Crabs. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of them to share. I can say though, the little bats were darling! Oh, we also had small gecko lizards too.
Ok, enough of the Above Water Critters....now onto the Wonderland Down Under.......Stay Tuned.
