| It's a shard (piece of) an ancient Roman amphora, i.e., a wine jug. It was verboten to recover whole amphoras but shards were okay. The area behind me is Cap d'Antibes, off the French Riviera. This is 4 months after I began diving in Australia. The Med was on my way back from appearing in a play in Melbourne...many, many moons ago ;-) |
